I was concerned that I didn't have an email trail on a car rental I had made back in February for our Hawaii trip that begins next Tuesday, March 25.
I am on the mainland and my wife is on Oahu visiting friends and family.
She has been trying to rent a car and it has been a challenge to get a good rate to say the least.

We recently (like yesterday) returned from a trip to Hawaii. We were on Oahu, Maui, and the Big Island and used your services for car rentals on all three islands. We had to change our reservations for Maui and the Big Island to upgrade the car type (turns out our 3 teenagers are better in a minivan than 3 across the back of a sedan), and then again due to Hurricane Iselle. When we arrived on the Big Island we almost changed again (Thrifty counter guy upselling 4WD vehicles hard) and I contacted customer service about this additional change.
Through it all, Amey was super helpful, researching the best options and both expiditiously and easily making all the needed adjustments. I felt like I had a personal assistant working through the arrangements and changes we needed to make -- at one point I called and she picked up the phone with a "Hi Lori" since she recognized the number!
That you guys also had the best (WAY better than either the direct car web sites or the counters) prices also made it a whole lot easier to make changes on the fly. I don't know how you're getting your prices, but between that and your customer service, Car Rental Hawaii is one awesome organization in my book!
Thank you so much for making our vacation (and the changes) work -- we certainly needed the cars that we had to drive all around and it was really helpful to have been able to make changes as easily as we did. Amey, in particular, is super! Wish I could work with someone like her for all my travel arrangements!

I want to tell you what wonderful customer service I received today. I was concerned that I didn't have an email trail on a car rental I had made back in February for our Hawaii trip that begins next Tuesday, March 25. As it turns out, I found the email at a newer email address I have been using vs. the one I share with my wife. But before I discovered the original email, I called you this morning and left a message. I received a call back, 10 minutes before you opened Hawaii time, and everything was easily confirmed in terms of our rental from Alamo. I should also mention that I had previously reserved a car through Hotwire, at Enterprise. As it turns out, that car was going to cost almost double what I ended up paying through CarRentalHawaii. You were recommended to me from the owner of the condo in which we'll be staying during our 10-day visit. I'm not sure if it was Nick who I spoke with this morning but, whoever it was, the person was very helpful and concluded with a reassuring comment that if we had any problems or issues while in Hawaii, to be sure to call. That was a very nice touch at the end of our phone call.
So thank you. I feel like I'm in good hands regarding our car rental, and I appreciate the fact that your customer service, so far, is outstanding. At the conclusion of our trip, if all goes as I expect, I certainly will be sharing with my 300 Facebook friends that, if going to Hawaii, they should start first with CarRentalHawaii. Thanks again.

beginning today. Miriam pulled out all the stops to help me find a car for my wife
at a price much, much lower than what we were being quoted by other companies.
